Venues

Kamloops Pickelball Club has several Indoor and Outdoor venues available at different times of the day and of the year. 


Indoor Venues:

TRU:  Thompson Rivers University:  900 McGill Street.
– 6 Indoor courts.
– Play using badminton court lines. 
– Payment:  Drop-In fee.
– Play available to paid Club Members only.
– For safety and club liability reasons, only paid club members can be on the TRU floor during play times.  Spectators may watch from the mezanine area above the courts, which is also a terrific view.  

TCC
:  Tournament Capital Center:  910 McGill Street.
– 4 Indoor courts.
– Play using badminton court lines.  
– Payment:  CITY Punch Card.
– Play available to Club Members and Public.

Per Kamloops Parks and Recreation department:
– Players are asked to wait on the bleachers until session start time before they access the pickleball courts.
– The CITY Punch Card for pickleball does not include the use of the track.  Players cannot use the track for warm-up or between games unless you have purchased a day pass for the TCC track.
– Bags and clothing are to be left at the bleachers and not taken onto the courts.
– Water bottles can go to the courts and are to be left on the trolley only.

KTA:  Kamloops Tennis Association:  758 Front Street.
– 6 Indoor courts.  Play on an outdoor surface.
– Dual use tennis courts lined with PB courts.  
– Sessions are for paid Club Members only.
Maximum 36 per session.  First 36 to sign up each day play. 
– Payment:  Drop-In fee.  Pay at KTA clubhouse and sign the attendance sheet.
– Play available only from October to mid April, under the bubble.
– PB members are asked to wait in the KTA clubhouse until session start time, before they enter the tennis dome, as this will avoid disruptions for the tennis players.

Outdoor Venues:

RVP:  Riverside Park:  100 Lorne Street.
– 10 Outdoor courts.
– Play on 4 dedicated and 6 dual use PB courts. 
– Courts open:  7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Lighted courts.
Courts are available for Public play at times not allocated for Club play. 
Simply drop by or organize a group of players during Public play.

MDP:  McDonald Park:  501 McDonald Avenue.
– 4 Outdoor courts.
– Play on dedicated PB courts.
– Courts open:  8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Courts are available for Public play at times not allocated for Club play. 
Simply drop by or organize a group of players during Public play.

CWP:  Cowan Park:  697 Cowan Street.
– 4 Outdoor courts. 
– Play on dual use PB and tennis courts.
– You need to supply your own PB net.
– Courts open:  8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
