Membership & Costs to Play

In February of 2023, the City of Kamloops updated its Bylaw 35-98, 2022 to include a charge for booking pickleball courts at Riverside and MacDonald Parks.  The result is that Kamloops Pickleball Club is required to purchase permits to use the Pickleball Courts at both Riverside Park and McDonald Park for scheduled round robin play and lessons.  Because this change was put in place after KPC dues for 2023 had been set and collected, the KPC board opted not to pass this additional charge to our members for the 2023 season, but rather to cover the additional cost through the use of some of our reserves.

The City of Kamloops permit fees will apply again in 2024, therefore the KPC board finds it necessary to increase Adult membership fees for the 2024 calendar year by $25.00 to $77.50 (inclusive of Court Development Fee). Details of what your dues provide are below.

New members who register through Pickleball Canada after October 1, 2023 will have their membership extended through to December 31, 2024.

2024 Membership renewals for existing members will begin November 1, 2023.

KPC Adult Membership is $77.50 for the period:  January 1 – December 31, 2024 (other member details below).

Kamloops Pickleball Club is using the Pickleball Canada Nation System (PCNS) for collection of our club membership dues ($77.50).

●       Pickleball Canada (PCO) fees ($10.00) and Pickleball BC (PBBC) dues ($2.50) (PBBC dues going up to $5.00 January 1, 2024) are also due at this time.

No refunds will be issued.

No guests will be allowed to play at KPC venues during the indoor season.

Registration on PCNS is seamless, safe, and secure. Once at the site, click on the black box – JOIN CLUB, choose New or Renewing member, complete the form, proceed to the payment, and you are done!

Please allow 3-5 days for your registration to be processed, e.g., online booking setup, then you can enjoy all the benefits our club membership has to offer.
